History

Firstly, The air Jordan Line of basketball shoe was first released by Nike in 1984 with the Air Jordan 1. In 2014, there have been 29 pairs of Jordans released not includng variations. The first 13 pairs released and their variation are by far the most popular of the iconic brand. Following is a list of the first 13 pairs of Jordans, released between 1984 and 1998. The Air Jordan brand now brings in more than 90 million dolars a year and is one of the most successful shoe brands of all time.
